Avi Loren Fox specializes in natural/available light

photography. Avi has a knack for capturing the warmth

and character of her subjects. Based in Philadelphia,

Pennsylvania, USA, Avi is available for consultation and

contract world-wide. Avi works alongside her older brother,

photographer, artist, and musician Nikolai Fox.

Avi's natural sensitivity and curiousity about her surroundings have always inspired her to be active in her community.  She has been interested in photography since the age of seven.  Avi's inspiration is drawn from her conviction that photography is an empowering tool that speaks to the potential of human connection.  

After graduating from Temple University's honors program in 2010, as a Udall Scholar, she established a non-profit environmental initiative in her home town called Narberth Greens.  In 2011, she launched Avi Loren Fox Photography after kitchen table discussions at the family house about inspiration, and the power of imagery.  Also in 2011, Avi co-founded the Sustainable Wedding Collective with Joe Petrucci of JPM Catering and Events.  Avi has worked as a teaching assistant at the International Center of Photography in New York City and serves as a mentor to students and young photographers in the Philadelphia area.
