Venice, California: Travel Lifestyle Photography Collective

It’s always exciting when, a dream you’ve had for a long time, happens once. It’s maybe even more exciting when it happens twice. It makes you start to think: hey wait, could this be my new normal someday?

It’s too soon to tell, but I’d say the fact that my second Travel Lifestyle Photography Collective just brought me to Venice, California for a week of on-location product photo shoots is a really great sign (the first being January’s TLPC in Mexico). From the Leo Carrillo State Park to Abbott Kinney to Venice Beach, I enlisted my best girl Sveta as model-in-residence and we photographed 15 products for 6 brands, including cross collaborations and some behind-the-scenes treasures with Sveta’s sweet angel of a toddler.

Also not pictured but perhaps notable is off-roading via Jeep three miles into the mountains to attend a private mini-burning-man-like music festival, discovering kelp noodles and how the LA grocery store Erewhon makes Whole Foods look like Acme, and that no matter how long it’s been since you go on a grand adventure with your best girl it’s still just refreshingly the same as when you were 22.

Here are some of my favorites from the trip. Thank you to all the brands for participating in my second TLPC. May this be the second of many more!
